Charlie was born in 1906 in Maple Grove, Minnesota. Ruth was born in Jim Falls, WISCONSIN in AprIL 1915. Charlie's family moved to Minneapolis when he was 8 years old where they lived for a year before moving to Cornell, Wisconsin in 1915 to join some of the other Aubart families already living there.

Charlie & Ruth eventually moved to Bloomer, Wisconsin where they became poultry farmers. They had 9 children, Wayne was the second child & second son, he died when he was just 2 months old.
